The Rowing Machine
Fun fact: cardio based gym equipment can be an awesome way of engaging your abs! The rowing machine is not only a great full body work out, but it also engages your core muscles and is optimal for burning stomach fat. You can use the rowing machine in different ways to target your lower and upper abs. Try placing your feet on the seat and your hands at the end of the rower in a plank. Slide the seat with your feet up and down to target your abs.
The Cable Machine
The cable machine is a great way to sculpt your abs by using weight and resistance training. It works by having adjustable weights at the end of each side of the machine and a pulley. Try adjusting your weights to a setting you can comfortably stand with feet shoulder width a part, have your hands extended out front holding the pulley, turn your upper body from the machine with the pulley and then back to your starting position facing the machine (make sure to hold in your stomach when twisting to activate abs). Adjust weight if too heavy. Continue on both sides.
