People often ask, what is the quickest way to lose weight? There are many different programs and workouts for fast weight loss but the quickest way is to eat well, and keep your body guessing.

One of the biggest things to remember is to watch what you eat: that’s obvious. The 30% Gym, 70% diet rule always applies.

From an exercise point of view, a really powerful way of losing weight is to keep your body guessing. It is important to remember that fitness is really specific to a particular activity. You might be a really fit bike rider, but spend 5 mins on a treadmill and you’re a sweating, gasping mess.

Another thing to keep in mind is the power of muscle memory. Once your body gets used to a particular activity or movement, your muscles remember it and it gets easier. Therefore, you don’t work quite as hard.

Weight loss is quicker when you mix up your work outs.

Try not to over-do it with one particular class. Take different classes, or get a PT to show you some different exercises.  See your body change and your weight drop as your body is continually challenged and is forced to adapt to different things.
