While many people may discard yoga as something that doesn’t really help with your fitness goals, you’d be surprised at how much you can benefit from it. Workout fads come and go but yoga has been around for hundreds of years and for good reason.
Yoga is fantastic however you use it. You can use it as a warm up/cool down after a hard workout; you can use it to push the limits of your strength, focus and flexibility; or you can use it just to attend a class as part of your weekly fitness regime. It’s a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation.
